WOMEN IN CALIFORNIA POLITICS MUSEUM
In the museum you will find a timeline where you will learn something about each one of the women elected to serve in California’s Legislature. The Honorable Shannon Grove #127, is proudly sponsoring the WICP Timeline of the 197 women elected to serve in the California Legislature from 1918 to present. Display cases are filled with many historic keepsakes, photos, artifacts and much more showcased in this ever growing, ever changing exhibition in Sacramento, California.
The museum is highlighted by dozens of unique one of a kind items, such as, the first pantsuit worn by a female Senator on the Senate floor. The press reported that the Honorable Rebecca “Becky ” Morgan was politely escorted off of the Senate floor for not complying with the dress code.
